Theย Arturia MicroFreak (EU)ย is a Hybrid Synthesizer with different Oscillator Models and Capacitive Touch Strip. The compact instrument is the result of a cooperation between Arturia and Mutable Instruments and contains eleven different digital synthesis models such as Karplus Strong, Wavetable, FM, Waveshaper, Grain or Chords. These models are unmistakably thanks to Mutable Instruments. Especially the Plaits oscillator from the Eurorack was the inspiration. The tone generator is followed by an analogue 12dB multimode filter, which corresponds to the Oberheim SEM VCF.
